Impact:
The students learned socio-historic contexts and ways of hoe England was back in the day. The kids were curious and asked frequent questions. It was enjoyable as we met a good role model as a queen.
Report:
Today's session was in continuation of yesterday as we saw Florence Nightingale and her contribution we also knew how Queen Victoria was reigning at her time, now we saw the first Queen of England and her biography, we saw how her life was hard with her cruel father and also saw how the historic context brings out a more balanced understanding of it's times. We understood the tussle between Protestants and Catholics, this helped them understand the reasons of the execution of Mary Of Scotland. We also saw the political battle between Spain and England and learned about the Spanish Armada. We saw the video of it and it helped us grasp it better.
