Impact:
Today was not only a fruitful session but also an inspirational and educative session, Many kids did not know about this disease hence activities like this created awareness and HOPE to all patients. We understood the science behind it very lucidly and had a lot of fun. The way we did it was palatable and easy for the kids to grasp such serious things and such activities are so easy and efficient ways to impact people. After sending the collage many responded positively and it felt really good and made us aware of why we do what we do at Adore India. The kids and their parents also were happy seeing their faces here and overall it was a huge success.
Report:
In today's session, we began by talking and greeting everyone and making everyone settled down. We then discussed the Adorable magazine where we held a series of sessions with different centres on creating awareness of the special day.  We looked over the magazine and opened it. The first page was the world International Cancer day which was today.  we saw how medical things work like cells and how the disease cancer works in a simple way. I gave an analogy of the body as a house and there is no one cleaning it hence it starts becoming dirty. We also took screenshots to draw a hope message to help cancer patients. We all did this activity together where the screen was shared and all the participants did this activity of copying the message of HOPE. We constantly checked up on progress and helped each other. It was very engaging and satisfying. We then took pictures of us holding the picture and sending it. Later I made a collage and sent it to the groups. It was quite inspiring.
