Children understood the topic pretty well and enjoyed the session also. I shared the link of the video and the picture activity with them after the session got over.
Report:
I had planned today's session with a introduction to our today's topic that was fractions with a video and then proceeded with the explanation of the concept of fractions which is appropriate for the age group that I was given. So I first asked the students to be quiet and to watch the video carefully then we discussed about our concept: fractions. We talked about various terms like parts, whole, numerator, denominator and how we name fractions. Then I displayed them a picture activity in which we all counted the parts together and I wrote the answer with annotations. They were not so attentive while the video mentioned how to name the fractions so I replayed that part of the video to make them clear and then we named each and every part of the picture activity together.
