Impact:
Decimals are used to represent numbers less than one. The value of each number following the decimal point, such as tenths and hundredths, is shown by place value. The child was able to grasp the concept and do the necessary computation with decimals.
Report:
Today, at 6:30 p.m., I hosted an academic session for one hour as per my schedule, mostly for children in the fifth grade, with only one student attending as usual. We decided to study arithmetic, and the student was taught the idea of decimals. The class was followed by a practise session in which the student began to solve sums using decimals and learnt how to convert decimals to fractions and vice versa.
