Impact:
The session was very informative and insightful in creating interest and kindling the spark of curiosity within the kids. The kids enjoyed the story format and learned important stuff without getting bored. It was also an amazing experience to be instrumental in being a part of this and experiencing the wonder that kids can make us feel.
Report:
Today's session began with the introduction of everyone and we asked each other about our interests and molded the session accordingly. The kids loved English and Science so we did a fun story that was very scientific and filled with knowledge. We did a story which was a dialogue between a whale and a titanosaur in a museum. We came to know from their discussions about their weight, height, and their features. We also saw how a museum is preserved and maintained and how different models are made with Casts, fiberglass, real or replicas of fossils, etc. We also saw short video clips and images of the animals and some features of them like Whale's teeth and discussed its occurrence in Finding Nemo. The kids also read the dialogues out aloud by their allotted characters and we had fun. We then ended the session in thanks and activity to draw the characters in tomorrow's session.
