Impact:
The strength of the class was nice and many of the students saw new people that helped them interact more. A lot of discussion and bonding happened today. The session was also fun and enjoyable. They interacted and played along. No one was left behind and we spent our time together in fun. I loved today's class as my kids from different EC's came together and the strength was good that encouraged me to do more.
Report:
Today's session was a merged session with different EC's coming together for a fun storytelling session. The session began with welcoming everyone in the class and everyone caught up on each other. The kids were introduced to the basic outline of the story. We interacted on a fun activity where the kids imagined themselves on an island and imagined what primal things were needed to survive a shipwreck. We got interesting answers and each and everyone contributed to the class with their responses. The story then was read one by one; necessary corrections and meanings were explained as well. We then moved on the visually see the short clip of the story. The nuances of the clip were explained and enjoyed. The kids were shown flashcards and various objects, activities, and people were identified. They learned the different musical instruments and also learned about sea urchins via a video on YouTube. We then played a quiz on animals and ended the session with homework activity.
