Continuing the topic from tomorrow, we talked about America's involvement in the First World War and how it started. America joined the War in 1917 after the killing of 128 Americans on a British submarine sunk by a German submarine. We talked about how Woodrow Wilson was pressurised by the citizens to get involved but he didn't budge until Germany claimed that it's submarine can and would sink any and every ship, after which America entered the war lending it's resources and soldiers. We then talked about the socio-political changes that America suddenly underwent with it's involvement.
