Impact:
Today the participant did many mistakes in the dictation part but he was really excited to learn something new and different today. I chose this different book because I left like the monotonous routine of the sessions is making it non-effective. Thus to make students interested more in the activities of the session I wanted to do some new things.
Report:
Today the session started on time. There was only one participant in the meeting. I presented the comprehension passage on the screen so that he could do the reading. Then I explained the meaning to the student and I asked them to solve the questions given below the passage. It was good to see that the student could answer the questions by himself. Then for the dictation part, I thought to do something different. Thus instead of dictating from an English book, I dictated few lines to the student from a science book. He seemed excited in the dictation part as the words were new and thus there were many mistakes as well. Later I corrected the mistakes.
