Impact:
At first, I was not ready to take the session because I was confused about what and what not should I teach but when the session started, everything went smoothly. Also, kids were more comfortable with me turning on the video camera. It also made me realize that it's important to do so because, slowly I'll be more comfortable too while seeing other students in session live. They gave good feedbacks which boosted my confidence too. I am going to work more on their sessions because I am not used to teach so many kids at once. I am going to look for more aware topics so that they can learn about new things other than academics.
Report:
I took a session at 3:30pm to 4:15pm. This was my first interaction with kids of Dreamland. The number of kids was 10-12. At first I introduced myself, then I shared a link in chat box. We all saw a video of English communication skills (Conversation between teacher and students), we discussed few good manners and then I had a INTRODUCTORY CONVERSATION with kids. The kids were bit mischievous at first and not paying attention to the session but I asked them kindly to pay attention and they listened. After playing the video, I asked them few questions related to it and they gave correct answers. Atlast, we discussed the topic for upcoming session. Overall, this session was good and interactive, kids are intelligent and they enjoyed it too!☺️
