Impact:
Today's session was a mix of craft and story telling which the children really enjoyed. I connected the origami rabbit with the story of the rabbit and tortoise so that the children were able to easily imagine the story. Overall, it was a fun and really interactive session.
Report:
Today I took an origami session with the children where I showed them how to make a paper rabbit with simple and easy steps. The children had to listen carefully in order to make the rabbit which they did and in the end they made really cute craft rabbits. After that I asked them in which story there is rabbit. Almost all of them raised their hands and told the name of the story of The Rabbit and the Tortoise. I asked one girl to recite the story and she was able to narrate the story about the race between the fast rabbit and the steady tortoise excellently and the rest of the children clapped for her.
