It is nice to share my tips and tricks that I used in my childhood and I think the participants also had fun.

It was the first ever session of this YL so the group, the participants and I, myself were buzzing with excitement. Being thursday, a painting class was scheduled. I started with introductions which took up half the time, it was nice seeing new faces and talking to them. Then, for the painting part, I showed them a trick that they can do using a white oil pastel and watercolours. I told them to draw or write their names on the white sheet and then, to paint that part of the sheet with their favourite colour using watercolours. As soon as paint was put on the sheet, the oil or wax from the oil pastel did not let paint over it, making the background colourful and in the middle, big bright name written in white can be seen.
