Today's session was one of the best sessions ever. The kids had a lot of fun in learning about the Nine Gems of Akbar's court. They were quite fascinated by each one of them. Each one of them had a unique skill because of which they were called a Gem. These skills amused the kids to a great extent. They had a great time learning about them. They also had too much fun learning about the great and fearless Maratha ruler, Chatrapati Shivaji Maharaj . Shivaji's valor and bravery was something that amazed them the most. They had never heard of such a fearless and valorous king before. They also enjoyed learning the her mother, Jijabai's contribution in making him one the greatest rulers. Also the pictures that they saw, were quite eye-catching and fascinating. They had a lot of fun in seeing the pictures as well. Today the kids had a really great time. Today's session was a wonderful one.
Report:
Today I took a session at 6 PM. Today the kids learned about the Navaratanas or the Nine Gems of Akbar's Court. They were made familiar with all those nine people whom Akbar called them the gems of his court. They learned about each one of them today. They learned about the profession and how they acquired a significant place in Akbar's court . They also learned about the monuments constructed by Akbar. Today the kids were also made familiar with the greatest king of Maharashtra, Chatrapati Shivaji Maharaj. They were taught about the bravery and valor of Shivjai Maharaj today. They were taught how Shivaji dreamt of Swaraj and tried to acquire it. The kids were also taught about Shivaji's mother , Jijabai and her contribution in making him one of the greatest rulers of India. To make it more interesting, I even showed them a few pictures of Shivaji, his mother Jijabai and his fearless generals Bajiprabhu Deshpande, Dadoji Kondeo and Tanaji Malusre. Today the kids had great fun.
