These passages contain valuable lessons. For example, today's comprehension passage taught the value of saying "No" when something makes you uncomfortable. Because of these lessons, the sessions are interactive and engaging as the students talk about what they understood and give their own experiences.
Report:
Today, I finished another comprehension passage with the students which was called, 'Amusement Park Problem'. Two volunteers, Vaishan and Mohammad took turns to read the passage for the group and I explained them the meaning of each paragraph. Then after they understood the passage, I asked them questions which they were able to answer.
