Report:
Today I planned to show students about Chattrapati Shivaji Maharaj who was an Indian ruler and a member of the Bhonsle Maratha clan. I showed them a video that shows students about the historical era of the Shivaji ruling. Shivaji demonstrated great skill in creating his military organization, which lasted until the demise of the Maratha empire... Shivaji was contemptuously called a "Mountain Rat" by Aurangzeb and his generals because of his guerilla tactics of attacking enemy forces and then retreating into his mountain forts. It was a very inspirational and learning story of Chattrapati Shivaji Maharaj both students and I enjoyed this session.
