Impact:
One girl named her cat Smarty because she wanted her cat to be smart like her. One boy named his cat Kitty and another girl named her rabbit Duggu. It was wonderful seeing the children use their imagination and come up with the most unique names for their imaginary pets.
Report:
Today I had told the students to get their drawing books and colours and I asked them to imagine that if they had a pet what would it be, a cat, dog or something else? Two students said they wanted a cat and one said a rabbit, so I showed them simple steps on how to draw a rabbit and a cat. They followed those steps and were able to colour their pets. Then I asked them tp give a name their pet to which they gave cute names.
