Impact:
The story is very heart-touching one about wars, ugly battles and friendships. The more we are progressing, the more the students are understanding the depth of the story.
Report:
Today, I continued the story 'The Best Christmas Present in the World' where I made each student read each paragraph turn by turn. I asked them how much of the story we had covered in the previous session and they were able to remember. Then for today's portion of the story, I explained each paragraph and taught them hard words like meaning of, "No Man's Land" (in World War I). Since the story is quite long, we did not finish it today, we will continue it in the next sessions.
