Impact:
Sometimes in an online platform, it is difficult to understand whether every student has understood what is being taught either because they are non-responsive or it is hard for them to open up honestly. In such cases, I always make sure to repeatedly ask them whether they have understood or not and to explain each part twice. Every day I give my best, but at the same time, tell myself that I can do better tomorrow.

This was my first session with the 8th standard students where I was to teach them English. First we did introductions, there were 4 girls from the Bal Seva Sansthan and I started with the first chapter of English from Class 8 NCERT, a story called 'The Best Christmas Present in the World'. The students read a little of the story and I explained them paragraph by paragraph. They understood the story so far and it is to be continued in the next session.
