Impact:
This type of colouring and this technique is the stepping stone to the world of watercolours. This will help them master the basics, like how much water to use and how much colour to use to get the desired colours.
Report:
I prepared by making some simple symmetrical line drawings which I then coloured with watercolours. This was to demonstrate block colouring or solid colouring to get opaque results. The participant then made a drawing of their own and coloured it. Being their first time, they had some troubles which will go away with practice in the future. Then we discussed about brushes and which brushes should we use and when.
