Impact:
I learnt that she had taken science because she like biology. So throughout the class I was trying to connect the what I was trying to teach with biology, (half the class consisted of biology today) so that she can relate to it and understand it in a better way. I also asked her if I had to make the class more interesting, she said yes. So hopefully she gets a lot of benefit from what I am teaching her!
Report:
The subject taken was Chemistry for 11th std. In today's I enquired about how she wants to learn concepts and what she already knew about chemistry. Then I explained to her that science has no division like physics chemistry and math so when we learn about chemistry we are basically learning about everything around us. Then I taught her the composition of air, difference between atom and element, classification of substances. I also provided her with the notes to study.
