Impact on others: 1. Participants understood where, how and when to use past indefinite tense and past continuous tense. 2. Participants gained confidence in their understanding of tenses. Impact on self: It was very rewarding to pass on the knowledge I have in this subject.
Report:
In today's session, I covered a brief introduction of past tense and an in-depth discussion of past indefinite and past continuous tense. I explained the rules using examples, charts and pictures. After completing the two forms of past tense, I gave the students few sentences to assess their understanding of the two tenses.
