Impact:
I was really happy after seeing these students joining the class for the first time in 3 days! The students seemed to enjoy and were playing together by playing pranks. At first, I thought they weren't quite enjoying the class but then they started opening up and gave ideas as to what they want to do in the next class. And while leaving the class they said, "Maam I really enjoyed this class." And it made my day!
Report:
This was my first session with Aashray Care. I wanted the students to make something that can be used at their home and also teaches them about waste management. Hence we made a newspaper bowl! We started the session by introducing each other, considering it is going to be a regular class of mine. I showed the Presentation I made of waste management that they seemed to enjoy. We then continued to make the newspaper sticks. In this class, we could only make 16 newspaper sticks so the rest of the steps will be taught in the next class.
