Impact:
As this was my first class I enjoyed it very much. The students very enthusiastically recommended some DIY ( do it yourself) home decor ideas that they wanted to teach me. I was amazed to see how creative and innovative these young students were.
Report:
I planned my first activity based on the topic of reducing waste because I thought with some fun artwork a little about how to protect our environment could be taught (Fun and Learn). We made bowls out of newspaper. We also discussed other things that can be made from waste materials. I also let them know that they could also choose the next activity using waste material and teach me because learning is always a two-sided thing!
