Impact:
It was a fun session but I have never taught class 1 student so it was a bit challenging for me to keep them engaged. I will prepare a more child-friendly plan so that I can capture the students' attention. I also liked the energy and enthusiasm of the students. The parents also attended the session and helped translate some of the things I said. But sometimes they answered the questions for the students which was something I didn't like but I hope that will not be the case in the later classes.
Report:
Today was my first class with the students of Desire Foundation. I had planned an intro session for the students and just asked them questions about their likes and dislikes. Mostly talked about their names, what language they were comfortable talking in, their hobbies, and where they live. We also played a game where the students had to identify the words and answer the questions. I also played a song for the students and it had simple English vocabulary.
