Impact:
The kids have heard the name of some of the countries but they didn't know where practically it was in the world, but they learnt about atleast some of the countries from this activity and it was also a recollection for me as I used to do maps a lot before.
Report:
In the beginning, I showed them an empty map with continents and asked them to identify them one by one and they all did it correctly. Then, we played a game with the Asia map. The map had countries marked and so, one by one, I gave them the name of a country and asked them to locate where it was on the map by circling it on the screen. Everyone was curious to search for their countries. First, I gave them the spelling of the countries but then next I gave them only the pronunciation and asked them to figure out the spelling as well as the country on the map.
