Impact:
It's always an honour to engage yourself and share a bit of your experience, acquired knowledge, skills, and abilities with the budding youths of our country, with their 'absorbent mind'. Being a good leader and a guide is what I learnt through these 20 days of journey. Perseverance, dedication, multi-tasking, stress and time management, negotiation and convincing skills are some of the soft skills that I've gained from this volunteering experience. The activities were quite indulging and engaging. It helped me to utilize my time very precisely and effectively. Had a great impact on me and my fellow Young Leaders.
Report:
It was a great journey. My work as a student volunteer in ADORE EARTH started from 4th of May 2021. I was assigned to register 10+ students under the DEW(DOWN TO EARTH WARRIORS) Activity categories and further provide them with certain number of tasks. I have been volunteering for more than 20 days now. Registering under the DEW program I was blessed with a dozen of extremely talented students. My YLs have completed all the activities that were assigned to them, which includes- Plant a Sapling, Creative Quests, Best out of Waste, Young Leader Speaks and Youth Impact. They were highly ambitious and had love for their work. After these 20 days of my journey with ADORE EARTH here I'm with a total of 68 activities, and 14 submitting Daily journals. I also attended the meetings regularly.
