Aspects of scene in a story i.e. change in a story or taking the story ahead, time & location, tension & conflicts, an internal three act structure & pace of a scene were discussed using examples of films like 3 idiots, Shaurya, Prison break etc.
Report:
In this session, we discussed about how scenes are written for a story. The session was conducted by our GUEST speaker, Mr. Kritik Varshney who is an aspiring filmmaker. He covered every aspect of scene building, the three act structure of a story, conflict in a scene etc. The session also had a discussion where scenes of different films were analyzed and were addressed from writing point of view. In the breakout room, our other bunch of participants did their discussion of virtual play they are producing.
