Impact:
The students were very quick to respond. I think they enjoyed today's session. I feel listening is often considered as peripheral to learning. I was happy to integrate it with drawing, writing and speaking.
Report:
Initially, we had a discussion about their hobbies and things that they are passionate about. We moved onto discuss prepositions. The children were asked to follow the directions and draw on the basis of what they hear. While giving the directions, I used prepositions. Later when everyone had completed the picture, I asked what was the picture. Everyone got it right. Next, they were asked to identify the prepositions used in the directions. We worked on prepositions of time, place and agency.
