Today Tamayjyoti and I found and went to a few schools and a college in central Kolkata to try for tie ups. It was a direct pitch without any prior appointments.
So the responses are as follows:
Balika Shiksha Sadan and Sree Dido Maheshwari Vidyalaya : we couldn't meet the principal and they asked us to come again.
Bethune School : The principal said that since it is a government school she cannot allow us to conduct such sessions till we get a permission from Vikash Bhavan, Kolkata.
Bethune College: We met the student co-ordinator ma'am and she seemed very happy with the idea and asked us to submit a letter to the principal. If principal ma'am approves of the letter the letter will be redirected to her, following which she will allow us to conduct an orientation for the students.
I think if we continue pitching like this accompanied with a some followups, we can really expand our reach through leaps and bounds.
Unfortunately we couldn't conduct our weekly session at the Bowbazar High School today because on reaching there we got to know that there was some electricity problem. Principal sir has asked us to continue our session from next week onwards.
