"The school which I first visited was Pragnya Public School. I had an interaction with the school principal. She was really warm and welcoming and complied with the idea of an interactive session with the students. The teacher concerned helped gather the students. The students were mainly from seventh to ninth grades. As I approached them, I had a hearty welcome. First of all, I asked a few questions with the students so as to know them better. Then my first job was to explain them about our organisation Adore India. I explained them the basic objectives of the organisation in detail and guided them on several topics like child bullying, peer pressure and pressures faced by students in their studies and matching the required expectations. I taught them the true value of education and their basic sets of responsibility towards their society. We talked on many such issues further. The session took about 45 minutes to complete.
The impact of the session conducted was that the children could more freely share their problems and interact with their teachers. Some of them were quite inspired by the motto of the organisation and expressed a desire to volunteer in the future. They were now more aware of their responsibilities and could bear a determined approach."
