Me with my other two team mates visited Nimeisa Panchayat on 27th of March 2016. We visited three villages there and conducted a survey on the availability of toilet facility in their locality. But we are surprised to know the fact that about 80% of the households haven't their own toilet. They are still going to the fields for toilets. Any of the Govt. schemes regarding providing toilet facilities haven't reached to their locality yet. They have no drainage system in their locality. Many of them are still unaware of Swachh Bharat Abhiyan. We met the ward members and the Sarapancha there. We asked them about this poor scenario of their Panchayat and discussed about various problems of their locality. They told us that Govt. schemes are already there but because of the people's unawareness, these schemes haven't implemented successfully. It is happened because most of them are uneducated or below educated. We had been there for six hours. In the end we again met some villagers and made aware them about the Govt. schemes and facilities. As a whole it was a nice experience for us and gained some practical knowledge and experience from this survey.
