Impact:
The students were attentive and tried to get out of their comfort zone and speak in English in front of the class
Report:
The session was with students of class 5 and 6. We started the session with Simon says and discussed the objective of the game. And since the kids understood english but did not speak in english we payed 'two minute mixer' where the children introduced themselves as their best friend and said about them but in english. They did mistakes which were corrected. We also discussed body language.. Importance of posture, maintaining eye contact, and clarity in voice We tried to understand why they didnt speak in english even when they understood it. The students were deeply involved and paid attention and promised to practice English speaking with friends.
