Impact:
We had a great time with the students hoping that they have benefited from our knowledge and true efforts in making them aware regarding such issue.
Report:
Classes: 8 Today, a session on Girl Child Safety has been conducted at Jujersa Vivekananda Balika Vidyalaya for class 9 in the first half and class 8 in the second. We started the session with the concept of Good and Bad touch. Then we discussed about the ideas beyond the concept of good and bad touch which includes: *Look, Hear, Hold and Space* cautions while explaining about the types of abuse that exist beyond physical touch. The students too mentioned about the several instances of harassments and how one can react/protest once fallen trapped in such situations. Lastly we had discussed about the various safety rules to be followed once they face any kind of aggressive pressure or intimidation when they are not with a trusted adult while mentioning about the Chilla app and Child helpline number.
