Report:
Date: 02/09/2019 Session: Child Safety Session at Sri Sri Academy. Volunteers: 2 (Simran and Sayantan) Class: 9 No of students: 40(approx) Session on child safety for boys has been conducted at SSA for class 9. We started the session with introduction and objective of the session followed by a brief concept of Good Touch, Bad touch. Then we discussed about the realm beyond the concept of being safe and what are the different types of harassments one can face. We also discussed about bullying. The students mentioned about several instances of harassment and how one can react in such situation. They too shared their personal experiences in the context and how they have reacted to it. A brief concept of cyber safety including the risks of maximizing the user's personal safety and some tips to stay safe online had been discussed. Then we discussed about their responsibilities towards girls and how they should respect girls citing examples of their female friends, sister and mother. Lastly, we had discussed about instances on how it's always safe for every person to be within a reasonable limit and parameter in every sphere of life while briefing about the Chilla App and the Child Helpline Number.
