Impact:
The session was interactive. Despite the topic being not much of a comfortable one for few of us to speak on but everyone tried to put forward their own valid points. Such sessions not only make us think about the topic on spot but also enrich the self-confidence to speak on that.
Report:
I(Debarati) was the in-charge of today's WAP session.The session started by 2 pm with 6 participants in the room and 1 participant (Kriti) over Zoom. GD topic was given by sir on spot. Everyone was given a time of 5 minutes to jot down their own points before the discussion. Although the topic appeared to be a less familiar one for some, but everyone more or less tried to make some valid points in context of the given topic.I started the discussion with a small introduction and Arshi ended it by figuring out the valid points which eventually came out from the discussion. The main points of today's discussion are:
1. Banking sectors are to be improved along with improving utilization of Infrastructure.
2. People should have a knowledge on Financial Literacy.
3. Encouragement/Development of startups.
4. Improving the income disparity in urban and rural areas thereby bridging the gap.
5. Changes have to be made in the progressive tax system.
6. Micro business should be encouraged and developed...so on and so forth.
