I hope today's session had a positive impact on the children and will help them in coping with difficulties in life to some extent.
Report:
Today’s session was all about the wide range of emotions we feel in our daily lives. When we talk about the wide range of emotions, students learn to understand their own feelings, sentiments and those of other people. Understanding and accepting emotions is the first step in learning to regulate them. And that eventually helps us to take the first footstep towards Personality Development. We discussed about the four basic emotions like Happiness, Fear, Sadness, Anger in depth. While talking about Emotions, we asked them few questions to help them learn through reflection. Questions like: 1. If you have felt angry at a friend, what have you done to him/her? 2. When can you make a better decision: when you feel angry or when you feel calm? Why? 3. What helps you calm down when you're angry? Lastly, we had discussed about the ways to curb depression, frustration briefly. It includes self-realization, sharing and caring, mediate etc. Lastly we also discussed about the Five thumb rule which indicates the measures of stress relief.
