Impact:
The students promised not to throw plastic packets on the road after any consumption of food and that they would reuse plastics and most importantly, learnt that this is for their better future.
Report:
Today our focus was to discuss about "Environment". So we asked them what they understand by the term and what comes to their mind on hearing the same. They shared their ideas and knowledge about it. Furthermore, they came up with the term global warming and we helped them to get acquainted with the term more appropriately, the causes of temperature etc in the simplest way possible and how we can control the same in due course of our daily activities or chores they do so that they can relate to it. We also exchanged facts and ideas about the importance of trees and plants. But most importantly, we explained them how plastics are harmful and tried to instill the idea that they should not throw any on the road and ask their friends and family to not do the same as well. However, this being a vast topic we were able to discuss about it precisely, as mentioned above and we wish to continue to spread more awareness in our sessions ahead about our planet Earth and how they can contribute in simple ways to save it.
All the students enthusiastically participated in the session and were glad to discuss about it all.
