Impact:
This session helped them boost their general knowledge, taught them right pronunciation and equal participation in the game, the introverted ones participated much more than the previous session. They became more aware of the right usage of electronic devices and most importantly internet. Overall, it was an effective and fun learning session.
Report:
Today we had again around 20 students from the cricket academy. We started by playing Chinese Whisper to teach a moral lesson based on the game. We continued to play a game called "Atlas" where they had to tell a name of countries, cities, towns, seas, oceans etc amidst which we discussed about the seven continents of the world, a few places, as to where these countries or continents are located, their capitals, specialties and more such relevant information was discussed. Apart from which, we also interacted and took a small survey as to how each one of them uses Internet and mobile phones,so that we could discuss in details about how appropriately and effectively we should use electronic devices and internet instead of just playing games and using social media in the next session. We took this initiative especially because we came across a boy around 13 years old, seemed to be involved in hacking, though we asked him individually not to do it and discussed about the consequences with him but we decided to spread a little more awareness on cyber crime as well.
