Impact:
The people we approached seemed very happy to have us conducting sessions with them. They were happy to have people who would teach their children what would not be taught in schools. They seemed really happy to have their children have someone who share their problems with. An adult asked if they could attend classes and we said they were welcome.
Report:
Me and Poroma met at Dhakuria at around 4 pm but we couldn't go right away as Priyanka arrived at around 4:45pm. We decided to approach the slum under Dhakuria bridge. We went to a club in the locality where we met a man called Mahadeb. We explained to him about our sessions. He informed us that sessions used to be conducted earlier but stopped somehow but also that he will try to convince the parents. He told us that he would talk to the head and confirm next week. He took us to another club but they told us that they were not interested. Then, we decided to visit an area near Rashbehari more. There we talked to the parents and they welcomed us to conduct sessions every Sunday. We explained them everything in detail and they seemed happy to have sessions being conducted.
