Impact:
This session was to improve their communication skills and to gain confidence while speaking up. We show a tremendous increase in their confidence and willingness to participate in the activities. We also made sure that it should end on a lighter note by giving them a drawing activity. We got excellent feedback from their parents as well where they mentioned that their children are always eager for the Sunday session.
Report:
We started the session by basic introduction. We asked them about their families, their likes and dislikes. Just wanted them to get to talk in public and speaking out on such basic things gave them confidence. We had a fun drawing activity after that. Most of them drew pictures of scenery and one could even draw a picture of Mahatma Gandhiji. Before ending the session we taught them little tricks to learn tables faster in mathematics.
