Impact:
Somehow, cake cutting and celebration of Christmas gave a feeling of farewell to the grannies, they thought we wouldn't come anymore and we could hear a silent question "why". This attachment and sense of belongingness is something to look forward, something to learn from. an impactwe volunteers create to make little differences.
Report:
The solar eclipse today made it very easy for us to start the session with meditation. Maneesha Di began explaining the benefits of meditation and we could hear all the grannies joining in with information and more opinions. With time, they have become more comfortable with us and were talking not just about their sorrows but also their achievements in life and how they spent time in there. They presented few songs for us as we cut the cake, with them.
