I took my chess session #16 yesterday. Five kids were there. As I mentioned in my last post, I provided them my chess set. I also provided my score sheet of the old tournament games. Score sheet can be used to track the moves played in a particular game. In my previous sessions, I have taught them how to read and write score sheets. In my last session, I asked them to refer one of my previous games using score sheet to understand why each moves were played. Yesterday, I asked them to explain me why certain moves were played. Though they were not able to explain all the moves, they could answer for few of the moves. I was elated with their performance.
