Today we went to Cartouche school for session with classes 3, 4 and 5.
General observation-
With our 2 sessions with them before, they are unusually very silent. So we had to make them come out of their shell. So we sat with them and had a group discussion with them on what they want to become in future, and told them that we all have to ask questions. It was really fun to see everyone talking a while later, some took more time.
Then we asked them to draw anything related to the topic of pollution. The kids came up with beautiful illustrations, which were very nice to see. We too sat with them to draw to not make them feel like it's a competition or a class, it's just an activity to creatively think.
At the end of the session a girl herself suggested that she wants us to take something on writing next time.
To be very honest, we were very happy, it was our 3rd session with them, and finally they were warming up and opening up to us.
The teachers there are very supportive too, they join in on our session and it becomes more fun.
